Rumours of a Postal Ban

In this week's issue there appears an amusing letter from the Imperial Japanese Military Headquarters in Peiping, complaining of the lateness and irregularity of delivery of The Review. It was an interesting coincidence that this letter should have arrived at a time when there are rumours of postal bans on Shanghai newspapers, including The Review.

If you are not familiar with The Review, send to the nearest news stand for a copy of this week's issue, or better yet, enter a subscription. The rate is $12 a year, including postage. Send orders to the undersigned, Wednesday, April 20, 9 p.m.

Entries, $7 per pair, will be received on or before April 19, 1938

Text read from the printed page and cleaned; old type leaves the occasional error.
