The messenger kite ascends to the main Kite and there it remains till the incense has burnt down to the fusés'of the firecrackers. These go off, burning through the string that olds rigid the wings of the messenger kite. The wings collapse and the messenger kite returns to earth, sliding slowly down the line. The big kite is then hauled in, and the little drama, which has greatly pleased and amused every onlooker, juvenile or adult, has been brought to a successful close.
