Swatow, Feb. 29.
It is learned here to-day that on Saturday the foreign lighthouse Keopers at Breaker Point, 20 south-west of here, were captured by Chinese communists and taken from their lonely post.
It is not known whether Breaker Point has been lit since Saturday.
Among those captured is a British Keeper named Edwards his wife and four children, The British destroyer Whitehall is now here and is ce-operating with] the Chinese authorities in order to uy and effect the release of the featured lighthouse. Keepers and it reported that the British destroyer Keppel is now on her way from Hongkong on a similar errand.—Reuter.
