Sm—I would thank you for a little Space in your widely-read paper to ask if any of your many readers could give me some information regarding living conditions in the Islands of the South Seas especially Tahiti and the Marquesas Islands. I would be obliged for information as to how to get there from Shanghai the cheapest way possible for a family of four. I understand the money used there is the Franc, If anyone has been there of late and could. give me any data I would be very grateful a Shanghai, Sept, 15.
