Shortage of Labour

Berlin, Apr. 28.

New measures have been adopted here for re-incorporating int the Process of production those thousands of persons who, during the period of maximum unemployment in Germany prior to the advent of National Socialism, left - the ranks of the workless to engage in small trading and hawking' and have since then eked out a meagre existence.

The number of these persons is estimated at about 200,000. They are to be taken in to meet the shortage of labour at present prevailing in Germany.—Trans-Ocean.
