Wusih, Oct. 19.
Yesterday this city was bombed again and many people were killed at that time and many wounded were taken into the hospitals of Wusih. St. Andrew's Hospital has its are of pathetically maimed men and women. In one ward for women, there are three who have had to have limbs amputated. Their only fault was that they happened to be near the railway line, when men waging an undeclared war, came suddenly down out of the air and dropped expk e near them.
On October 16, this same area also was raided. Six civilians in a poorly built dugout were killed, one a mother with her child in her arms. A group of workmen were clearing away the charred remains of a burned building. Hearing aeroplanes coming they scattered and ran, one of these sportsmen of the air turned a machine gun on them and killed a man. A small bomb falling near the station demolished part of the luggage room and a piece of flying metal tore a huge hole in the skull of a guard in the van of a train standing in the station.
