TOWER'S NEW VOCALIST

The first impression one receives upon seeing Fina Hox, talented singer now appearing nightly at the Tower Night Club of the Cathay Hotel, is that she is an individual possessing rare charm. But it is only when she sings that one fully realizes the extent of her ability. Possessing a piquant, lilting voice, Miss Rox is able to infuse into her melodics an element of sincerity-As versatile as she is capable, Miss Rox renders songs in different languages. Her latest renditions at the Tower include two German songs: "Ess Muss Wonderbares" and "Regentropfer." Later on she hopes to present other unique and entertaining numbers in the same language. Though Miss Rox has been at the Tower for a short while only she has already established herself as one of the leading entertainers' of that popular night club.

With the inclusion of Fina Rox, the entertainment programme at the Tower is truly one of the most well-balanced in the city. A wide variety of numbers include classical renditions by Joseph Ullstein's Orchestra, vocal efforts by Eric de Reynier and Fina Rox, and last but not least the divertisements offered by Gene Kirk, wizard tap drummer.
