MISSING MAILS

_An Inquiry To-the Editor of the "NortH-CuiIna Dairy News,'

Sir,—It would be of considerable interest to know what steps (if any) are being taken by the Postal authorities, both foreign and domestic, with a view to hoped, to eventually deliver the rae to locate and, it is July mails from Europe, the whereabouts of which still appear to be wrapped in mystery. Beyond an occasional reference in your valued paper to the fact that these mails remain missing no information is obtainable. Apart from the serious inconvenience which this hold-up has occasioned business firms, there is the personal aspect to be considered, that is, residents with families and friends at home, now know that letters have been despatched during July which remain undelivered. Surely, Sir, it is the public duty of the Postal authorities concerned to take definite action to trace these missing mails without further delay, and to issue an official statement on the subject, or must one assume that there is now little hope of these mails ever being delivered? This matter is one of vital interest to many residents and your assistance, Sir, in affording publicity to this subject in your valued paper would be of considerable public benefit.
