Experiments made in various German laboratories have proved that it is possible to dry and season timber rapidly by exposing it to the influence of short-wave transmissions (one of these days they'll be finding that electric currants are just the thing for those cakes mother used to bake). The new method not only accelerates the process and thus shows great economy in cost but the wood so treated has been found to be more ductile and easier to work.
