Held by Delegates SPECIAL TO THE "xica."

London, Feb. 22.

Owing to the debate in the House of Commons on the vote of censure against the Government, which necessitated the presence of Mr. Neville Chamberlain, the Prime Minister, the formal talks between the Ministers of the British Government and of the Government of Eire, were postponed.

Preliminary conversations, however, were held to-day between representatives of the Irish and British delegations.

Questions of trade were understood to have been discussed, and it was expected that the formal conversations would be held tomorrow afternoon—Reuter.
