Passenger Train Bombed

Barcelona, Oct. 9.

One hundred and fifty dead, over 300 injured, rends the casualty toll of the passenger train bombing that occurred near here last night, when a Nationalist seaplane attacked a line of carriages close to San Vicente de Calders.

The bombardment took place at 8 o'clock in the evening, with the attacking craft dropping eight bombs on and near the railway tracks just as a locomotive pulling eight wagons was passing by. The engine was thrown off the rails by the explosions. The engine-driver, who fired at the plane with a revolver, was killed in the blast.

Five other missiles, bursting close by, riddled with shrapnel the carnages packed with human beings.
