Through the kindness of Col Perretier, Commandant of the French Forces in Shanghai, the military band 9f Lo Detachment Francais de Shanghai will play through the morning, while the men of same will assist in the ring at the various obstacles giving the whole show an eclat hitherto unknown here.
For this show, except for event No. 6 ponies to be eligible must have the same height measurement limits as imposed by the Shanghai Paper Hunt lub.
It is hoped that, in view of the present happily improved state of international relations this very apposite and sporting gesture on the part of the French authorities and community will receive the generous support of all who enjoy thrills in the open whether they are riders, spectators or both.
