Homicide Henry Armstrong, lightweight and welterweight champion of the world, has been installed by Broadway betting commissioners as an 8-5 favourite to defeat Ceferino Garcia when he clashes with the Filipino on November 2 for the title.
Despite widespread interest in. the bout there is an incredibly small amount of betting, the general consensus being that anything can happen and that the bout is too risky for heavy wagering either way.—United Press.
