Government Had Knowledge

At the same time, informed quarters declare they believe the British Government "had some Knowledge" of Col. Lindbergh's report.

The report, it is said, described Soviet aviation material as beng excellent. Russian craft were said to be good copies of American planes. but the Colonel is also declared to have stated that Soviet air personnel to be insulMiclent and land staff inadequately trained.

The American air ace was closely watched during his recent visit to Russia, but it is asserted that managed to land on four Soviet acro~ dromes without surveillance, when he could make true observations.
