It is a serious thought.—Which way are we going? Where is the right way? How shall we be guided aright?—We answer, when the compass is not to be trusted, the mariner steers by the sun and the stars, eternally fixed and sure, and we may do the same. When conscience may not be trusted we have a chart in which the way is so clearly shown that, "the wayfaring man though a fool, shall not err therein." And we have a sun by which we may steer our course. If we go every day "looking unto Jesus," ever setting Him before us, "the Way, the Truth, and the Life," revealed in this Book, we need have no fear; we shall be in the right way, the way of life, and growing light and peace.
