London Stocks

Wednesday's Closing Quotations

London, Nov. 30.

Conditions on the Stock Exchange were steadier today, with most issues finishing a little above yesterday's close. However, the action of the market was impressive, following better reports emanating from France regarding the failure of the strike, and the undertone was good. Commercial and industrial issues advanced on bear covering. In the foreign bond section, Japanese issues moved higher today, while Chinese loans remained unchanged.—Reuter.
