State on the morning of the 26th:—Light anticyclone over Central China, the Yellow and the Eastern Seas and Korea. The typhoon south-east of the Loochoos is advancing northeastward. Southerly to easterly winds along the China Coast. Overcast to cloudy weather around Shantung; fine to cloudy over our regions and in the south.
State on the morning of the 27th:—Moderate anticyclone over Korea and Japan. Low pressures over China. The typhoon to the east of the Loochoos is advancing north-eastward.
Probabilities, 430 p.m. yesterday:—Fine to cloudy weather with breezes from the southern quadrant around Shantung: with easterly to southerly winds over our regions snd along the southern Coast: with northerly to easterly winds over the Eastern Sea. The typhoon to the south-east of the Loochoos is apparently advancing slowly northward or even north-westward—Siccawei Observatory.
