Partly for Railway Extension to Wuhu Nanking, Mar. 29.
The Nanking Municipal Government has obtained a loan of $500,000 from the Bank of Communications. It is understood that $300,000 will be used for the extension and improvement of, the municipal railway, andthe remaining $200,000 for the construction of a large-scale municipal manure plant.
The loan is secured on the income of these municipal enterprises and some other city revenues and bears annual interest of per cent. Tt will be amortized in two years. With this oan available, the municipal railway. will be extended to Wuhu—Central, News.
