The Shanghai Lawn Bowls Astociation league which finished on. Saturday, Sept. 21, was won by the, Shanghai Recreation Club, who finished first In both divisions. This club has now won the league twice in success sion and three times in all, since it was inaugurated in 1931, the second division having only started this year.
The Shanghai Lawn Bowls Club mods finished second and well behind the leaders, with the Country Club third and the S.LBC. Blues and the Clube Lusitano in the fourth position, the former having the better shot average.
In the second division the Shanghai Lawn Bowls Club were runners-up to the Recs, with the Clube Lusi-10 and the Yangtszepoo Bowling lieing for third place, the former having the better shot average.
It is interesting to note that for! 3 Bere the season fourteen matches the first time since the league started. there have been no drawn matches.
