Peiping, Jan. 28, In addition to the proposed construction of additional barracks, the Japanese troops in Fengtai "are planning to purchase 50,000 mow of land in the vicinity for the purpose of building an aerodrome. An offer of from $100 to $200 for each mow Is said to have been made by the Japenese authorities. Upon learning of this report farmers in these districts immediately petitioned the Chinese Guthorities to. persuade the Japanese military to drop the plan. There are at present $00 Japanese troops stationed at Fengtai but the number will soon be Increased to 800-—Central News,
