London, May 15.
British policy on Palestine was further attacked yesterday by Jewish leaders in the annual Zionist Congress being held here.
The leader of the British Zionist Association, Professor Selig Brodetsky, denounced the British plan for solving the Palestine problem, declaring that it constitutes a violation of Jewish rights in Palestine as these were laid down in the Balfour Declaration. If Parliament were given the opportunity of voting freely on the plan, it would be definitely rejected he declared.
The chairman of the political committee of the Zionist Association, Mr.
Paul Goodman, asserted that according to the new British plan, the fate of Palestine is to be placed in the hands of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem.—Trans-Ocean.
