New York, June 2.
Stock prices on Wall Street today moved up from fractions to about 1 point in a session of quiet trading. The upward adjustment of values was led by steels and motors. The revival of hopes for better ce-operation between the Administration and "big business," following last nights conference at the White House, inspired a selective demand, whilst favourable business news was also a sustaining factor. However, the unsettled European situation is again looming in the background. The volume of trading was small, amounting to 400,- 000 shares.—Reuter.
