Film Experts Here For Battles

Fall of Wuhan Cities to Be Screened Sponsored by "The Patriotic Society Behind the Front," a group of Japanese film experts arrived in the Shanghai Maru to record the coming battles at Wuhan, according to the Shanghai "Mainichi" yesterday.

Included in the party was Mr. Kosaku Yamada, composer and conductor, who will write a score to be used with the flm showing the fall of Hankow; and Mr. Suisei Matsui, commentator boasting Hollywood experience. The party will remain at the Astor House several days before going up the river.

Among the 460 passengers in the Shanghai Maru were Mr. Kiichi Yamanaka, director of the Nisshin Kisen Kaisha, Mr. Jusaku Takarazuma, director of the Bank of Hankow, Dr. Yometaro Kikuchi, head of Kaisei Hospital, Osaka, and Mr, Fusakichi Otani, managing director of the Takashimaya Department Store, Osaka.

It is stated in usually well-informed quarters that the guerillas about Shanghai are well equipped with rifles and machine-guns, and ammunition for these weapons. It is problem magical, however, whether the mobile units possess all the artillery they need for the extensive operations they are attempting in this area.
