Local Bowlers Now Hongkong-Bound

Tsinan Eventually Takes Honour of Transporting

Interporters The above photograph provides ocular evidence that the remainder of the Shanghai Lawn Bowls Association Interport team has actually left for Hongkong, this picture having been taken on board the Tsinan on Monday morning. Reading from left to right are W. J. MacDermott, H.

Wallace, captain and manager, J. M. C, Lopes and K. L. Swartzell, behind the Association flag.

It will be remembered that there were many changes in connection with the departure of the team. Original arrangements were that it would leave by the Wingsang. Then, owing to a change in the sailing dates the Norviken was mentioned as having the possible honour of carrying the Interporters. As a result of the misunderstandings in Europe the Wingsang again came into the picture.
