The transfer of Chinese cultural institutions into the interior provinces has now been completed. Chekiang University, formerly at Hangchow, is now at Yishan, a small hilly township near the Kwangsi-Kweichow border the Academy Sinica is at present located at Kweilin and Yang-so, a small village near Kweilin; and the Hunan and Hupeh joint middle school is now at Chuanchow, near the Hunan-Kwangsi border.
