COVENTRY'S CHANCES OF ANOTHER CONQUEST

By "ScmurATOR"

Portsmouth visits London for the second week in succession, apd Arsenal should gain an easy home victory. Another London "Derby" is featured when the two leading teams, Brentford and Charlton meet. Brentford have lost one home game to date, still I think they will hold the Athletic and repeat last year's victory, although a draw is a possibility.

I think Bolton should get a narrow win verdict over P.N.E. and the Albion continue their improvement at the expense of Leicester. Everton should win the battle of the roses with Leeds. Huddersfield should triumph over Grimsby Town, and although Middlesbrough defeated Derby County last year, I am afraid to trust the Boro away from home, and give the County to win by a narrow margin.

Newcastle United usually do well at Villa Park, and after the lapse of last week the homesters will be anxious to regain the favour of their supporters, I fancy the Villa to gain both points, Chesterfield should have nothing to fear from Bury.
