To the Editor of the "Norra-Cuwwa Dany News"

3 Sim—The Havas News Agency in its telegram from Riga published in your issue of October 17 relating how Herr Hitler has sold his "colonial" interests in Europe for Soviet gold to meet his most urgent need for that metal is illuminating in more ai senses than one. The report will doubtless be denied but something very substantial mist be forthcoming to prove a better reason for such action as is now being taken in the Baltic States.

It is urgently to be hoped that those financial interests of an international character which are not solely confined to operations from Moscow will not be permitted for one moment to tempt any part of Anglo-Saxondom by threat or bribe in} to engage in such negotiations over any of their colonial possessions even if: similar action cannot be in any or all of the Balkan States. d One cannot but be struck by the accuracy of what the prophet Daniel foresaw when he was told he should stand in his lot "at te wad the days." (Dan X11,13. It seem that Herr Hitler by ....neéither shall he rẹ- gard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women....but in his estate he shall honour the god of forces..,.
