Prof. Jean Piccard, noted explorer of the stratosphere. preparing to make this week-end in a to-day was an ascent this balloon of an entirely new type. His new flight equipment includes eighty small rubber balloons to lift his steel gondola, The primary object of the first flight, which he hopes to make either on Saturday or Sunday, will be t test the efficiency of the new equipment,—United Press.
