Si,—After two hours of grand music at Sunday's concert, it was exasperating to read your critic's wholesale condemnation in to-day's paper. Not a word of real praise for a single item. However, we can afford to ignore him on this occasion as we are sure that our own enjoyment was shared by 99 per cent of the-audience. The continuous applause and especially the repeated calls for Mr. Foa, were ample evidence of what the audience in general thought about it, Shanghai, Nov, 9.
