Bank Objects to Any New Foreign Issue on Bourse

Amsterdam, Nov. 9.

The Netherlands Bank has raised objections to allowing any new foreign issue to be noted on the Amsterdam bourse, according to announcements in the press here last night.

The Netherlands Bank takes the view that for the time being the arker should as far as possible be reserved in favour of the still unplaced portion of the 3 per cent. conversion loan of the Netherlands Indic.

It is believed that this attitude of the Netherlands bank is fundamental in character and amounts to a refusal to remove the embargo on new issues wailing since the beginning of this yea It is also assumed that the issue which the Netherlands Bank refused. to sanction was that of Swedish municipality amounting to several mili guilders—Trans-
