Great indignation is expressed in Netherlands Indies newspapers over -new Bill brought forward in Holland to determine the division of expenses of the Netherlands Indies Navy. the Netherlands Indies contributes about 30 per cent. of the naval expenditure in the Indies, it has no share in the control of naval matters, Holland contributes nothi to Army expenditure in the Indic This also is criticized.
The Netherlands Indies is making for a minimum of six cruisers, but it is not expected this number will Be approved by Holland. The Netherlands Indies already has three cruisers, as well as other vessels, including submarines—Reuter.
