President Roosevelt's

Home for Nation

Papers to Be Stored and Available to Scholars "Washington, Jan. 12.

President Roosevelt has announced that the title of his family home at Hyde Park, New York State, and 100 acres of land surrounding it will go to the government at his death.

In the meantime, he said, Lis papers would be collected there to be easily available to the scholars of the future. A building to house the paper—probably a simply-designed, fireproof structure of stone—would be built partly by public subscription and turned over to the government, he explained.

Mr. Roosevelt said he would contribute to the project all funds minus taxes that he has received from the sale of material to newspapers, magazines, and book publishers.—
