London, Jan. 12.
Spanish trade unionists, according to a despatch from the Spanish Press Agency at Barcelona, have appealed to the British Trade Union Congress, saying:
"In this hour, decisive both for our cause and for world democracy, we trust that the British Trade Union movement will act quickly on our behalf."
The appeal adds that the Nationalists regard the offensive of Catalonia as a decisive battle, but that the Republicans can conquer by unity, self-sacrifice and hard effort.—Reuter.
