London, Jan. 2.
on New Year's Day for deeds of courage, bravery and heroism branches of the British Navy were honoured by the King in war, according to a supplement of the "London Gazette."
The paper contains the names of more than 200 men decorated or promoted. Most awards are for skill and gallantry in lifesaving, mine-laying and sweeping, and anti-submarine work.
Decorations for men of the submarine Ursula, which sank a German cruiser, are also announced, and mention is made of the submarine's "courageous and skilful attack."
