Washington, Jan. 17.
Senators John A. Danaher, Connecticut Republican, and Guy Gillette, Towa Democrat, yesterday introduced resolutions in the Senate seeking the invocation of the Neutrality Act against Finland, Russia, China and Japan. E Senator Danaher's resolution said that the invocation of the Neutrality Act in the Russo-Finnish war was necessary to promote "peace and security in the United States," in view of President Roosevelt's failure to apply the statute.
Senator Gillette said he "felt justified" in offering a similar resolution regarding the Chinese-Jananese war.
Meanwhile, Senator William King, Democrat of Utah, offered a bill to extend credits to countries which were "the victims of aggressors."—"United Press.
