Belgium, Holland Reassured

Dutch; Belgian People

Fully Prepared; Envoys Informed in Brussels Brussels, Jan. 17.

Official circles maintain the greatest secrecy regarding the talks last night between M. Paul-Henri Spaak, the Belgian Foreign Minister, and the British, French and German Ambassadors. The general situation understood to have been discussed.

Public lighting in the Verviers district, near the German frontier, is now "blacked-out" every night from 8 o'clock. In the Eupen district, no buses are running, partly as a precautionary measure, and partly owing to the requisitioning of vehicles by the army.—Reuter.
