The chief task of the Diet will be that of approving the budgets. Few bills not in one way or other connected with the Sino-Japanese hostilities will be introduced, it was predicted, First among the new bills is that providing for the Social Health Institute which will direct a general campaign to improve the health and physique of the entire population.
The Institute will conduct periodic physical examinations of all persons above three years of age, and vestigate the proposal for improved medical services.
The proposal to nationalize electric light and power will again come before the Diet as will bills for food ud fuel control and other measures designed to assure comfort for the population.
Such matters as ce-ordinating the branches of industry, regulating shipping, controlling import and export as well as the financial and exchange matters connected with these proposals have been arranged b; various branches of the Gove The Diet, as a matter of form, be asked to legalize them
