The Unity of the Church

Broadcast Talk Given by the Rev. W. S. McGoldrick On Sunday in the Catholic Hour Series

UR last radio lecture was on the Church in general, as Christ's Mystical Body. Of this body He is the Head and we are the members, just as His physical limbs are integral parts of His human body. Now in a human body there must be complete unity, both external and internal. So, too, in Christ's Mystical Body there must be a complete unity, both internal and external—umity of government, unity of faith, unity of worship, unity of all that goes to make up what we understand under the name of religion. It is this unity which Our Lord had so much at heart at He made it the subject of His last solemn prayer on earth.

This Unity of the Church is to po the jo of tonight only theme of tonight's lecture, namely. appointed as His representative on earth, believing the same doctrine, the same Sacraments and unity of faith, of worship unity we have Church; is there any such Church in che world?
