Italian bombing planes from Ma-lorica today résůmed raids along the eastern coast of Republican Spain, severely damaging military establishments in the Barcelona sector, Nationalist reports said.
Ten Nationalist planes were reported to, have concentrated on the sector between Barcelona and Sadadell Where tons of explosives were dropped en Republican territory now threatened by advancing Nationalist troops. A Republican anti-aircraft battery was said to have been destroyed by the Nationalist squadron at Badalona.
Another squadron of eleven Nationalist planes also was reported to fave bombed "military objectives" at Valencia. Deposits of gasoline, oil and munitichs were suid to have been destroyed and two Republican gunboats in the harbour hit, While "he planes raided the Republican coast, opposition to the Nutionalist advance stiffened, leading neutral military observers to believe that Nationalist hopes of an early end to the civil war had been ended.
The Republican command, taking advantage of the lull in fighting be-Caüse"of bad weather, rushed thousands to new troops to the front where they engaged Nationalist forces in scattered battles; Attacks and counter-attacks were reported in the huge triangle between Teruel, Mont Alben and Alpocacer.
