Meetings of protest against Japan's invasion of China are being held from time to time throughout the country.
Whereas payment of rent for Room 101, Chung Foo Building occupied by you has been ten months in arrear, from March to December 1937, whereas, since August 13, 193 have completely disappeared leaving the said room locked up since then rendering it impossible for us to communicate with you, you are hereby notified that unless the rent owing by you is fully paid within 10 day from date hereof, we have no alternative but to have the said room opened and contents therein (if any) will be sold to liquidate your debt without further notice. We reserve our right to claim from you any deficiency and we will credit to your account any surplus after the liquidation.
