Col. St. Clair Smallwood Lectures in Poland Anti-Japanese Boycott; Building Societies By O. M, Green (Editor "North-China Daily News," 1911-1930)

London, Apr. 22. IL. St. Clair Smallwood has lately left London for Poland AA where he is to give a series of lectures under Government auspices. Col. Smallwood will be remembered by many people, particularly in North China, as he spent some time in Peiping on business shortly after the War. He did a good deal of travelling and is one of the few people (other than Russians) who have actually visited that mo man's land on the border of Korea and the Maritime Provinces, Changkaoféng, where it really looked some months ago as if the Russians and Japanese were going to war.

Col. Smallwood is also an authority on Outer Mongolia and recently gave a very interesting ture en it to the Japan Society
