The war risk insurance claim for U.S$27,170.65 brought against the Home Insurance Company by the Hwa Tung Electrical & General Engineering Works had its eighth hearing before Judge Milton J. Helmick in the United States Court for China yesterday. Mr. Yao Teh-fu, general manager and senior partner of the Hwa Tung firm, testified on the valuation of certain machinery. Mr. H. C. W. Pederson, Danish partner in the Insurance Loss Consultants, said that his firm was empcyed by Mr. Yao to make a survey of the losses in the Hwa Tung factory.
