"A Parting Philippic"
To the Editor of the "Nonrn-Cuaxa Dany News"
Sm—Buue Sruverr has written four letters, I only three, He cannot therefore deny me the Joy of a parting hilippic.
It Is obvious that we are only talking at eross-purposes, and his latest biblical sensations do nothing to) clarify the situation, His Kingdom is not mine, my Kingdom is not his—land there's' an end to it, He would be amazed, for instance, were I to, deny his statement (which T'do) that the Zikawei Orphanage is of this world!
In such a case, it is better to stop arguing with the head and begin reasoning with the heart, For Chris sweet charity, I gladly take back everything by which he may have felt himself undeservingly aggrieved, Except, of course, my Kingdom!
Personally, I am convinced of his sincerity, not at all of his scriptural judgment, And so—as my Father Confessor usually writes at the end of his letters—Oremus pro invicem!
