Election: of Officers for the Coming Year The annual meeting of the Union Church Women's Gulld was held in the. Church Lecture-hall on Feb, 24 under the presidency of Mrs. T. Hytchison, In a brief address Mrs. Hutchison complimented the members on the work accomplished during the past year, in spite of the fact that, owing to the local hostilities, activities were not resumed until the late tumn, In the organization there' ex-fisted a splendid esprit de corps, and she looked forward to some good work being secomplished in, the year upon which they were just entering.
The following officers were elected for the Year—President, Mrs. Hutchison; Vice-President, Mrs. David MeGavin; Recording Secretary, Mrs. A. W. Sherriff; Corresponding Secretary, Mrs. S. F, Harvey; Hon. 'Treasurer, Mrs. W. C. Scott; Chalr= fen of Sub-Committees—Programme, Mrs. J. A. MeParlane; 'Tea, Mrs. George Sinclair; Work, Mrs. TH, B. Harmon; Visiting, Mrs. C. W.' Allan.
