More Pressure

Following the equalizer, the Ger-rans applied more pressure. During the siege Kuelps chalked up the second goal. Wetzell sent Soenkssen forward. The latter fired across to Lemmser on the left. He in turn relcyed the ball to Kuelps, who with fine timing, picked the spherald up end slammed it through. Before half-time Lemmser increased the lead to 3-1. This goal came again a result of good combination among the forwards who seemed to understand each other perfectly.

After the change-over, the Club refused to be daunted and rallied with great efforts. Karanjia once more opened the scoring on a double assisted from his two inside forwards. It was a pretty three-way pass, with Urieff, a new man, whipping the ball to Murray, who in turn handed it Karanjia to make a shot.

With the margin shortened to one goal, both teams exerted more energy and the play became faster. Lemmser came into the limelight by lodging his team's fourth marker into the goal. It was a fine shot which the United keeper could not hold. Then Wetzell came through to, put his team in a big lead of three goals. The pivot drove hard just inside the circle and had the keeper beaten all the way, 5-2.
