France Will Honour Signature

Maurice Thorez, writing in Humianite, follows the same tone. "If Hitler," he said, "is certain that his attacks against Czechoslovakia will result in grave consequences for him, peace will be saved.... Therefore France should, in the cause of peace, not leave the slightest illusion in the minds of the fomenters of war. Berlin must be told that France will honour her signature, thus creating a situation in which England, the Soviet Union and the United States shall rally at her side to assure the integrity of Czechoslovakia."—United Press.
