Demonstrations Continue

Thousands of people concentrated in the centre of Prague today, renewing on a larger scale yesterday's demonstrations.

Although good tempered, the crowd was extremely noisy, continually screaming protestations in the direction of the President's Palace and the Legations.

General Sirovy at midday spoke to ihe crowds through loud speakers, telling them to be calm and return io work or their homes. The army, he added, was standing firm, the frontier was strongly guarded, and the nation could rely on the valour of its troops.
