Prague Reply Not Final

London, Sept. 25.

Prague's reply to the German Memo was communicated to the British Foreign Secretary, Lord Halifax, today by the Czech Minister here, Dr. Jan Mazaryk.

The Czech reply is negative, rebably-informed quarters here declared this evening, but observers do not consider it definite as the reply was not addressed to Germany but to Britain and France only. From Prague, too, it is learnt that politicians do not consider the Czech response as being final. There also, however, informed quarters say it is in the negative.

In general lines, Prague's reply is known to be similar. to the despatch broadcast by the official Ceteka news agency shortly after noon today—Havas.
