Visit to Eire A Man's Life hy on Try Pounts By Sydney A Clark. Nicholson & Watson, don. 8/-

This is the first of the Anywhere on £10 series that I have read. In it I found a Wealth of interesting information. I am afraid, however, it can only be classified as a guidebook. Although the author on occasions captured my interest, the book on the whole is rather laboured and heavy reading. There is nothing of the H. V. Morton in this work, but as a treatise on how to get the most out of a tour in Eire the book is excellent. While extravagance is barred on this tour, one could not accuse the author of meanness. There is enough data to enable the tourist io visit most of the famous towns, villages, etc, of Eire with a knowledge of what to look for and an inkling of their history and tradition,
