Pressburg, Oct. 17.
Martial law has been proclaimed in eighteen districts of Slovakia, including Pressburg, Komorom and Kaschau, because of the clashes that have taken place in these districts between Hungarians and Slovaks.
Almost all Slovak Ministers travelled into various country districts yesterday to begin a propaganda campaign and demonstrations of the Slovak population took place in all townships which the Ministers visited, The Slovak Social Democratic party has convened & session of the party organizers for October 19th to sanc-fiom withdrawal of the party from the Second International.
Through the dissolution of all Freemason: lodges and the confiscation of their properties, the Slovak state has come into possession of assets worth about 1,000,000 Czech Crowns.—Trans-Ocean.
